Does anyone else collect them? I haven't bought many lately, but I bought one with our unusual German surname for OH. I also have 2 with our first names and a Fraser tartan one for my paternal ancestors, among many others.
My wife tends to collect them, we have plenty from places we have been. The latest is one from Stonehenge that we visited a few weeks back on our way back from Devon.
I forgot the bagpipes which play Scotland the brave, and one from Stratford with a bust of Shakespeare and all 5 properties. The most boring ones are from the National Trust.
I used to pick them up from the different places we went on holiday and stick them on the big metal filing cabinet in my office however, once we got the caravan and started going away more often, I decided to stop getting one on each trip as there would just be too many and just got the occasional one if I saw one I really liked! Then, last summer when my department was moving from one building to another, they decided to get rid of the big metal filing cabinets as they are not really needed any more as most stuff is filed electronically now, so I got rid of the magnets and won’t be buying any more (probably 😉)!
I don't religiously collect them as such, however, I have a few!

Have had dozens over the years as they were cheap momentos for our daughter to pick up during holidays as she grew up.
We had a cull a couple of years ago as they were taking over, but still have enough to fill the side of the boiler and half the freezer door. A friend added to it just this week with a really naff one from Tunisia!
My grandsons used to enjoy rearranging my Dad's fridge magnet collection when they visited. I used to have quite a collection too, but since I had a new kitchen fitted there isn't anywhere metal to attach them! I don't fancy hanging a baking tray on the wall, though I suppose that would work.
