I’m not techy, so I’m not advising you. But there’s plenty of information online. What you do varies according to whether it’s a freestanding solar panel or one you’re fixing permanently to the roof.
Plenty of threads if you search too: what size panel for what size battery for what uses etc.
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
I would guess if the battery box is sunk into the floor it must be underneath the van. If so, any cables will be enclosed in something protecting them, either conduit or trunking/ducting which will need to be protected from stones etc hitting it.
You should be able to see the battery box underneath and hopefully the existing cables getting to it.
We are in the process of changing to a later model with this underslung battery box so I guess
navver could be right I will have to suss it out when we get it, or better still get advice from the
Dealer, they want £500 to fit one but as already mentioned I do have a number of parts already
inc a controller so I’m reluctant to lash out when I have nearly enough bits to do the job
