Pixie, that is the complaint that the WASPI women have. Except in their (my) case, they had already planned their working years and anticipated their State pension, then were told they would have to work more years before they got it. And in my case, my occupational pension changed too, we were given 3 months notice that we would get it 6 years later. I appealed, and managed to get mine in the 3 months.
