Any tow with this car ,and what do  you think of it  thanks in the look out for a new tow car

The official Honda excuse is that on some of the diesal models, the clutch is wearing uneven. They are even failing on some that don't have towbars fitted so if you are looking at one of the new shape ones, it might be worth asking if the clutch has been changed.  Also, the new ones come with a space saver spare which Honda don't recommend for towing.  Other than that, brilliant towcar !!!

The ambulance service I work for uses these as responder cars, and the clutches are not lasting at all (about 25-30000 miles), but then it could be the way they have to be driven :). Also the Honda 2.2 burns oil at a fair rate, have a friend who is a Honda tech and its a problem across the board, and something Honda have had a problem solving.

 Never used a drop of oil in my CR-V ( deisel) either, and not had any problems with clutch.
