OK, someone suggested at work to look into crewcab type pick ups for towing.

But, some sites state 'NO commercial vehicle allowed'.

So, are things like 4x4 crewcab pickups classed as commercial, even if I have it registered as my own PLG on the V5?

It'll also come in handy if I need to collect any wood for my woodburner at home.

A double cab pick up(and single cab) is a commercial vehicle, as, if it is purchased by a VAT registered company the VAT can be reclaimed.This is also the reason that many are advertised by car traders/dealers with the sticker price +VAT. This also applies to small panel vans etc.

If i have to call or e mail i tell them exactly what out van is like and it is only carrying our camping gear, no tow bar.
So no stickers , how many it seats ,side window,colour ect.
Only been turned down by some of the commercial sites.
