Been towing since 2009, first a 2 berth Elddis now 4 berth Swift Barnwell 1315kg, all towed with our 2004 Landrover, not spent a lot on it and nothing major broken but now it's died and seems to be beyond economical repair, with holidays booked, already had to sacrifice 2 weekends away, we need a new tow car!
7 months towing, 5 months town car, so was thinking of trying a diesel estate car rather than 4x4, the tax had crept up to £305 on Freelander.
Has anyone gone from 4x4 to estate car and been happy towing or have you missed the all wheel drive?
