Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
Dacia are cheap and nasty vehicles which reminds me of the old Russian Skoda and Lada cars which finally ended up with a bad reputation for poor quality and unreliability. They were mainly purchased by taxi drivers because they were cheap to buy but many passengers also claimed that they were so uncomfortable to ride in. Dacia remind me of the same concept of cheap unsafe vehicles and may eventually face the same fate as Lada although Skoda were taken over by a German company and saved the brand from the scrap heap. However, a close relative of mine went to have a look at one, had a test drive and said their cars were so basic and unnatractive that they told the salesman to stick it and walked away.
My step brother has got a Dacia Duster which he uses as a local run around and pick up truck to cope with the remote area in which he lives. It's very basic and has a utility feel about it, certainly not an ounce of luxury about it.
They look cheap.on the initial price tag, but when you start adding a few basic bits of kit that are normally included in the rival veichle brands, the price shoots up big time and there is very little difference in the end. The trade in value is also very poor, as low as 25% of it's original price paid on a 4year old car and on a relatively low mileage veichle.

If you compare the overall running cost for a 4wd Duster, including depreciation, the cost per mile is quite competitive, less than 1/2 that of a Honda CRV and slightly less than a Kia.
