I could be wrong, however, as far as I know, the normal headlight adjustments that can be made is up and down to account for the load in the vehicle, in that heavier load such as more goods or passengers, would tilt the front of the vehicle upwards, and the headlights would need to be adjusted to point lower down.
I have not come across lateral adjustments as in side to side, not in the vehicles I have owned or rented.
The headlight reflectors and plastic covers are designed to point the lights to one side, depending whether it is LHD or RHD.
Therefore, deflectors are required for a RHD vehicle when driving on the right side of the road and vice versa.
The pack of deflectors you have bought should include placement instructions inside. Otherwise search the internet for information as there are loads.
