Correct tyre pressure is so important, my van was recently serviced at home by a mobile engineer and he dropped the pressure from 42psi to 30psi because he said they were way to high despite the OH showing him the handbook stating they should be 42psi, anyway the next time I towed the van it was wagging about behind the car so much I pulled over as I got really frightened, I ended up crawling home about 40mph which must have p****d off other drivers behind me but it was the only way the van remained stable to tow, got in touch with Swift who said the tyres must be back at 42psi immediately, put the correct pressure in and the next tow was far better even though I was a bit scared because of the previous experience, so I say now always have the right tyre pressure and check before every trip.
