Originally I tried putting it on picpaste.com and setting a link to it but despite setting the picture to remain forever, the link died. In the end I put it on my gallery as I have no other pictures on there.

If I change the gallery picture, the new one would probably have a different filename so the link will simply die rather than link to the new picture (I think) but I don't plan to upload any pics to my gallery anyway.

As others have said, your link pointed to a site where the picture could be downloaded rather than viewed which wasn't difficult for someone reasonably 'net savvy but not as straightforward as simply looking at a picture.

If anyone wants to save the image to their PC and print it off and doesn't know how, just right click on the image and select "Save image as... " to save to your PC and print it out.

I was hoping it would be easy for people to use, I was going to try and collect manuals for other caravans also without having to have a huge amount of bandwidth for people to download them.

When i use the link i get a simple download or import box.
If you ignore the box that offer a plugin. (Thats new).

It's possible to set up a free website and post a link to the site, Grampian. If you add some advertising you might even make a few quid out of it.

Re an Avondale Perle Orestes, circa 1992, none of the piezos work. The circuit board / fuse box shows no discernible clues & I've had it suggested there may be a separate torch type battery somewhere. Any guidance, suggestions or clues would be gratefully received, thanks.

Does it have piezo's? Is it a separate ignition button?

The piezo wiring will be in the oven manual not the caravan one. Follow the wiring beneath the ignition switch. How many wires? One leading to the electrodes on the rings etc. the other if there is one would be to the power source.

Thank you Grampian 91. I see you were v.helpful to others in 2013. I'm new to caravanning but shall look & let you know. The fridge won't fire on gas either. I can't comment on the space heater as the control knob has obviously come adrift internally & I am yet to remove the casing in order to rectify. I'll be back to you. Many thanks.
