£14,000 sounds a good price Lozzie....

We're still hummmming and arrrrghing  !! Don't like the sound of the fuel economy, nor the taxes.  Niall posted about only getting 20mpg, so that's putting us off !

Apart from that, most people seem happy with the Sorento - I've read all the previous threads and I'm all sorento'd out!

Fuel consumption depends what you tow, how you drive, wind direction etc.

I've had (worst) towing fuel consumption of 24mpg, and (best) of 33mpg towing the same van, same car.

20mpg fully loaded with a 2.5l diesel is about right - me mates Discovery goes into the teens when he's towing 1500kg

if your worried about the consumption you might reconsider buying in the first place.

if you found a car at say 30mpg and towed all year ie:15000 miles fuel would have cost £1200 less but i bet you only tow 10% of that therefore decision time is it worth £120 more in fuel?

Sorento is miles cheaper than any rival therefore stick with it.
