Check caravans noseweight as close to 75kg as you can without going over.

Take car and caravan to the weighbridge, Tell them you want cars rear axle & caravan weighed. Upto you if you get the front weighed as well or a total vehicle weight.

Adding the bike rack makes matters worse as it is behind the axle, 30kg of bikes & rack could be adding 50kg to the axle loading.

(philip 22, has no problems what so ever)?

Hard to believe when you dont know your own noseweight limit is & have added spring assisters before.

Bit like people who do not use anti virus software because they have never had a virus. How do you know if you do not run a scan?

Started me off on a rant again.. oops.
Sorry.

Putting the adult bikes on the roof will make a big difference, especially if they are steel framed ones. If you can mount them forward then the effect on the rear axle will be minimal.

The weight of the bikes will be hanging a fair way behind the rear axle so will have quite a major effect on the rear suspension.

On a fairly new car, if you are needing to use spring assistors then you need to look at the loading.  How low does the laden car sit before you add the caravan?

As a rought guide, if you cannot lift the front of van up a little when it is sitting on the jockey wheel without too much stress then it could be too heavy.  Granted this is only a finger in the air guide, but better than no measurement at all.
