5k plus for a car now 61/2 years old. No way I would take the car back, break it for spares and use the money along with the 5k you would have paid the dealer and bought a new car.

You wouldn't even get 4k if it was running, if you tried to trade it in.

Mazda main dealer servicing is a joke, my brothers Mazda 6 has had similar problems, Mazda wanted 1200 quid for the last repair, independent garage fixed it for 160
