Completely agree with you. I drove a Superb on an icy skid pan and it beat the pants off Insignia and BMW. If I were poor, and couldn't afford to run my Landy, I'd probably have a Skoda. I don't know how I would tow through the Pyrennes as we did this year, or how we would take the caravan to the Highlands for stunning winter hoidays. I guess if one limits one aspirations sufficiently, a Skoda would be an excellent choice I find Skoda drivers are really well mannered too. I was towing one out of the floods in Castleford yesterday and he was really grateful, and even offered to pay me! I couldn't believe it, his car was flooded bonnet deep, his engine drowned, and he was offering me money! What a gent. Anyways, got to go, my lad has a party and I've got 6 excited chaps to take paintballing. Still, at least they all fit in my car eh? And all their kit, and I don't need to worry about the weather either. All this a nearly 40 to the gallon. Happy days. You're right, you don't need a Chelsea tractor, but damn, its more fun if you have one!
