Just be careful that fitting a non manufacturer approved tow bar may effect your cars warantee if its still within the time period.
I asked this question of Honda recently, and was told that any adverse effects that a non approved towbar and electrics had on the car, such as reversing camra problems, or other faults attributed to the fitting, would then be the customers responsibility to rectify at their own expense.
For this reason im having a Honda approved towbar fitted with 13pin Jaegar plug, and extra wiring loom to run the fridge whilst towing.
The job will take 6 hours to do and cost £640 but l would rather pay that than risk any future problems an potentially invalidate my 5year warantee.
