Occasionally if your pitch is on a slope, front to back, you might find that when you wind the steadies right down they don't reach the ground. Then you will need blocks under those steadies.
Or a pair of ramps can be handy, so it kind of makes tham dual purpose. That is unless you need to level the van and use under the steadies.

It would also be advisable to take some blocks of wood as one of the previous posters mentioned for under the corner steadies for soft or sloping ground.
You can also get wide pads for the ends of the corner steadies that can help in soft ground.
I always have a selection of wooden blocks in my front locker for things like this. Nothing to heavy just a few pieces.

Sorry checked Towsure, not surprisingly they only sell them in, wait for it, quelle surprise, pairs.
Oh and a pair can be handy for a 'vanner if they do not have wooden blocks or such like for the steadies.
had one like this for years, and it works very well. The anti-slip grid is a neat idea. The chock which locks in place is really useful too to stop the wheel rolling backwards, and at just £17 good value.
I was talking about the ones I had shown in the photograph.
Glad you explained about the chock

no you must not use your caravan legs to level your caravan you will damage the caravan. You need to use levelling ramps or a cheap way is to use thin blocks of wood made into a type of ramp. 4" seems to be quite a lot is it not possible to level to caravan by using the jockey wheel, ie. back to front and not side to side.
