Looks like we are going for the Hyundai. Went and had a look at it this morning, and it seemed fine. Not perfect, but then it is 11 years old, and not exactly what we wanted (Nissan X Trail) but it will do the job and the dealer has offered us a reasonable deal. It drove very well on the test drive.
Proper full-size spare with new tyre in boot too, George-Mildred.
I certainly hope so too. If she does she may well see out my driving days, as there's no way I'll ever afford one of these electric cars. This could be my last car, and my electric vehicle may well be a mobility scooter.
Well we did go for the Hyundai Tucson and we picked it up Monday. So far we like it, even though it is fairly basic compared to our Volvo which we do miss. The Tucson is much easier to get out of at the end of a journey though. It came fitted with a tow bar and 7 pin electrics, but no tow ball (don't know why it was removed), so I fitted one this afternoon. Hope to try towing with it soon.
