Well the time has come when I really have to get my bum in gear and order my next Motability car🙄Having been searching on the Motability website virtually daily, it now looks as though it will HAVE to be the Hyundai Tucson 1.6 TGDi Hybrid Premium 2WD Auto that has a towing limit of 1650kg which, I know should be absolutely fine but having been used to cars with a much higher limit, I'm just a bit anxious. My current 2.0L auto Ford Kuga has a massive 2100kg limit but those petrol hybrids currently available only have a towing limit of 1500 even though they're 2.5 engines! With the Tucson's lower towing limit we'll probably notice a bit of a difference but I'm sure,(well....hoping), it'll be fine...fingers crossed😉

Definitely hoping so because I've now got my appointment to order my new car this very afternoon👍

I have a Tucson PHEV Ultimate 4x4 263BHP. It tows our little Bailey 2 berth with consummate ease, if you find it revving a bit hard, just use the paddles to flick it up a gear. What are you towing with it? The adaptive cruise control is an absolute boom when towing, did 146 miles with the van yesterday, the vast majority in CC………Such a joy! On the French Autoroutes it practically drives itself.

I had a Ford Kuga 2.0, 180 diesel, a few years ago, awesome towing car. Went all over France towing as far as the Pyrenees, not had a better tow car.
