Hi Bessie,
Well, I loved it!!! But, my other half has seen an Insignia that he wants to go and have a look at now! He's driving me crackers!
We're going to have a good think about them over the weekend and make the final decision on Monday. He wants to test drive this Insignia first aand I'll have to do all the research again!
So...I'll be back on Monday with our final decision:)
According to this weeks Autoexpress the Insignia is the best value used car , they were talking about a 1 year old vehicle at around £9K though (1.8 petrol) 2ltr diesel wil be more expensive though. Nip into a newsagent and have a quick read.

Quote: 80,000 miles. From around them miles, you may start to have problems with the dual mass flywheel (manuals), the injectors, the fuel pump or the crank end pulleys.
It's not a case of IF, but sadly when they go, (they will all go eventually), they are ALL mega expensive fixes.
If you're going to keep the car a long while, get the conversion done on the clutch back to a solid flywheel, there was no need for ford to stick a chuck of rubber in the flywheel, that's what clutch springs are for.
Sorry, but that's just scaremongering & simply not true. And nobody in their right mind would put a solid flywheel in a hi-torque diesel passenger car these days. The gearbox wouldn't last 5 mins.
