I'll post my comment again here for you as you clearly haven't read it.
We drive at 65% ratio with a twin axle. It's more than stable at 75mph given the right conditions. I wouldn't necessarily drive at this speed in the UK but quite happy to in parts of rural France on toll roads.
If as you say you are towng your carvan at 65% then your max train weight must be in excess of 3500Kg so you would be restricted to 55MPH in France!

The physics may not change but the things that affect the physics do.
30 years ago I towed a light van with a 1300 Marina and the tail wagged the dog quite often, because there was little available to control the "physics".
Now I tow a bigger van with a modern car. The car has a built-in stabilisation system that takes into account the fact that I have a caravan on the back and can individually brake each rear wheel if it senses "swing" from the caravan. The tow ball has a scientifically designed internal mechanical stabiliser fitted, and the caravan could even have it's own electric stabilisation system.
If things haven't changed how is it that our American or Australian cousins can manage to tow much larger caravans at much higher speeds than we do? Do they have different "physics"?

Physics have not changed but they use electric brakes. So you can have the trailer brakes being applied whilst your towcar still pulls the vehicle straight.

Couldn't have put it better myself.
Our car has ABS, stability control, 315 wide tyres, updated self levelling suspension. The caravan runs on decent Michelin tyres ( 4 of them ) and has ATC and a stabiliser.
I can't see how this is comparable to the equivalent from the sixties.

Does that work like ALKO ATC? I understand this applies the brakes to the van wheels whilst the car continues to pull ?
So we have another self a pointed law enforcer. Now i dont agree with breaking the law but I'm getting total browned off with the amount of people thinking they are whiter than white. I don't believe for one minute there's a motorist out there who hasn't done something silly or broken a speed limit. Lets put the shoe on the other foot and that person films you maybe going over the speed limit. Stopping on a double yellow to drop someone off or a very late lane change going round a roundabout. Would you like it if you were all over facebook youtube or any other social media site or getting a chap at the door from the real law enforcers. No i dont think you would.
Dash cams are there to be used in the event of an accident which can work both for you and against you not some new toy to boost your ego.
Electric brakes aren't mandatory throught the USA,there are dfferent laws for each state.
Some states require that the trailer brakes can be operated manually by the driver from the vehicle others don't, some don't even have a requirement to have trailer brakes.
The speed limit varies by state some it's 50 MPH others 75 MPH.

Hi wobbly box just thought i'd be honest with you i speed most nights on my way home from work, once i get out of the 50 mph average speed camera area i'm more than happy doing 80 in the outside lane along with half of Manchester.
But i dont speed with the caravan on the back
I don't really bother about what other folk do. Yes I speed yes I've been in the wrong lane yes I've parked where I shouldn't yes I've came out a car park the wrong way. The point I'm making is the OP went to the police about someone who made a mistake and in their eyes was breaking the law. Yet they make a statement about how fast they go therefore also breaking the law.
Personally I'm feed up with everyone sticking cameras in your face at every opportunity or taking pictures of how a car is parked and loading them up to social media sites.
dash cams can be useful tools but a total menace when used to boost someone's ego.
