I'm sorry OP, I haven't taken the time to read all of your thread, but just wanted to say, what a load of rubbish!
If you've been sold/bought a 'lemon', that's your problem. I'm currently on my 2nd old model Sorento, the current is the updated one. Both XS diesel autos. Both have towed twin-axles, the current one a Conqueror 645 for the past 4 years. Yes, the current updated one without s/l suspension sits down a little at the back, but only a little. But before I bought it, I did research and new what to expect, but as far as performance/handling is concerned, I've noticed no difference between them.
I bought it new with 25 miles on the clock, and it has now done over 110,000 trouble free miles, and still pulls like a train with the caravan on the back.
So don't blame the model, it's your specific car which has a problem. And the fact it's a Titan spec is irrelevant.
------------- David.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure!
