Thanks, but I don't think that would tow our van?

definitely not interested in a pick up.

Pick ups are a bit of an extravagant option unless you need one, my main car/ towcar is a Ford Kuga 2:0 diesel 180bhp Auto, which as I have said before is the nicest experience I have had towing anything.

But I do also have a Ford Ranger pick up as my boys toy, midlife crisis, although I did have 2 pick ups when I was working so I am no stranger to them. With my rural life style I could not imagine life without a pick up truck. They are, without doubt, the most versatile vehicle on the road, and if we could only have one car, it would be a Ford Ranger pick up.

I look at them as a big 4x4 estate car........That you do not have to share with stinking working Spaniels who are in the back! 😀👍

it would do it, but the 2.2 would be at 97% which is way to close for comfort in my eyes, its surprisingly difficult with that weight of van to find something half decent, we are in the same position with our van weighing roughly the same, surely tho if your happy with the car you currently have, why not spend the money on that? rather than paying out all that extra for something that could end up being a even bigger money pit, as my husband calls it its down to cost to change, often its better to stick with what you have already got

If we knew what the problem is, we would keep it a bit longer. The headlamp levelling engine management light is coming on and going off. It goes off for a while having turned left, then comes on again on the straight and when turning right. Can't find any info on that one and nothing shows up on our neighbour's diagnostic tool.

It also cut out the other night when OH was coming home from football but again nothing showing up on the diagnostic and was ok again after restarting.

No idea if it's something to worry about.

I would just take it to the dealer and get them to do a dianostic test let then think that you are in the market for changing the car and believing that you might consider one from them, and they may just do it for free, you can then make a decision once you know fully what is up with it

As I said above, a diagnostic test has been done for this problem and all the many others we have had in the past at various times, such as cutting out/sluggish running/anti skid management light which have been ok for the last few months.

had the manifold cleaned out when it broke down in Germany and has been looked at by various garages including Mitsubishi but nothing has ever been replaced, has been terracleaned as well.

join the pajero owners club, I'm sure they will help sort out what is wrong

as for the diagnostic checks, no disrespect to your neighbour, but get it plugged in properly

Have looked at the pajero club website and found what looks like the same problem, seems to be something to do with a sensor but the poster got no replies. I just wish that OH would learn how to use the internet and do a bit of sorting out these problems, I don't even drive!

do your own post, and see what happens, include something such as urgent in the headline of the post, they are usually very helpful
