ok , update time . car needs new slave cylinder , clutch has to be changed also, plus a new dual mass flywheel as these have a habit of coming apart and smashing the gearbox casing.big problem on any mk3 mondeo with over 80k on the clock.

im lucky, im only paying for parts ,(450) the dealer i bought it from is paying labour costs even though car is out of warranty and these parts arent covered.

the price for all this work should be 900-1000 !!! add 2k if your gearbox goes !!

you have been warned.....

So maybe after reading that post, paying just 4500 for it wasnt a bargain after all????? Especially with double the miles.
