We tow with an Audi A6 2.5 tdi V6. You can get them either 2wd or 4wd. She gives approx 45mpg solo. 33 mpg at 60mph and 38 mpg at 50mph whilst towing. I have taken our van up an 18% hill no problem. Our van is 1400kg. The van hardly ever moves, even with a lorry on the inside and a coach on the outside, and is an enjoyable drive. On a long run solo I get about 700 miles to a tank of diesel (60 ltrs). It is the best towcar by miles we have ever had.
