A colleague (football fanatic, but nice guy really)told me that acaravan holiday is "not a real holiday"!
He just had ten days leave and stayed at home! (Probably watching endless reruns of football!)
We had a great time at Easter in Wales, despite the crap weather. The scenery was lovely and we met some friendly people on the site!
Looking forward to Spring Bank holiday next-got the Friday off so an extra day!
Not going far, thus avoiding traffic and less fuel costs! But we can take the van over Thursday evening!(alraedy booked in).
We take our van to the CC site at High Onn every year, we leave it there for a week or so-and travel to work (its not far) . We can pop home when we need to. We find it a great stress buster as it is in peaceful countryside!
Sort of local holiday! anyone else do the same?
