I have a 2001 1.9 (115bhp) Galaxy (auto) and usually pull a 1994 Abbey County Warwick.
The car tows very well, sits nicely on the road and doesn't generally get bothered by the wind or other vehicles. Acceleration is generally pretty good even when loaded up.
Problem: Auto gearbox had to be refurbished after 40K miles. c.£2000. (still under warrantly ) 4th and 5th gears would not lock in, and had the appearance of a slipping clutch
I would recommend the car, but would ideally go for the larger output (130BHP) and definately go for the 6-sp manual 'box.
