Looking at a caravan at the moment MTPLM 1271kg. (bailey ranger 5)

We want to tow with a 7 seater ( don't want a tank) and have been looking at so many combinations my head is spinning!!  Does anyone out there tow with a Zafira ?? what do you think?? they are just on, if not just over the 85% limit.

Other considerations have been Kia carens, verso. We don't want anything too big ie 4x4, jeep type. We've looked at the galaxy but new one is out of our range and the lift out seats are difficult for the wife to cope with so fold down seats are best for us.

I find that the towing weights quoted differ so much between web sites that I'm totally confused. I'd like to be safe and go with the 85% rule but what if you went up to, say 90 - 95%.

All thoughts/advice/experiences welcome

Tow with a chrysler Voyager and at far less than 80% you will be real safe. Will tow the weight you quote like a dream, wwith no buffeting or sway as long as correctly loaded. Used to have galaxy's but would not go back to one.
