HI Michael, thanks for you help. Looks like money wasted as its now fit to the van and apparently the Lunar does have a rotating shaft. Surely the stabiliser must help in some way from stopping the snaking as the van goes more side to side on snaking rather than going up on two wheels then onto the other side two wheels, or am I wrong.
yes it will still work but will loose some of the force applied by the pads if it turns to one side,if you think about it the hitch can only turn slightly anyway because it will be stopped by the ball neck itself and pads will still be in contact with the ball.i would be inclined to add a blade type as well for reassurance.
