great truck but avoid the 3.ltr they do have problems

as they get older, the 3.1 ltr is a good work horse

and seems to go on for ever

I had a 1993 3.1td Citation, and i towed a monster 22ft twin axle Tabbert Comtesse with ease with it. The car itself was a beast, looked big, felt big, had lots of toys and room. Need to get the long wheel base version for either seven seats or a massive boot. Didn't have any problems with it, it drove nicely, a lot of power, quite economical, it had about 95,000 miles on the clock. Personnally i think the newer shape is nicer to look at but that's all i know about it.

I had a 1996 model 3.1 duty model was great would pull anything . However be warned the later 3.0 models were prone to injector seal failure resulting in very expensive engine repairs not always covered by warranty . If you opt for it make sure it has full isuzu service history & has had the injector seal work done . There is loads of  futher info on the isuzu forums . Mine had done 133000 miles no problems towed a big twin axle no worries . The only reason i got rid was a) 23mpg at best & b) signs of rust appearing on the sills . Other than that hard to fault
