I hope somebody can help. I have a problem with my fridge not working on 12v when connected to the car. I had a man check the caravan electrics by plugging in the caravans 12S plug into a 12S socket connected to a battery on a trolley and the caravan electrics are fine. When I plug into the car with engine running the 12v system does not work (lights or fridge). Could the problem be I am towing a pre 1998 van with a 2005 car bought new with factory fitted towbar & electrics? or could it be a loose connection or blown fuse? All the running lights from the 12 N socket work fine.
