Proper chassis, 4 wheel drive, turbo diesel or V8 !!! Caravan about 85% max of towcar weight.

Then I'm biased, I like towing with a 4x4

We have 2 4 x 4s we used to have 3!!!! One is towcar, the other a funcar (not used much!)

Our Kia is 2.5 TD and is pretty economical for its size and performance. My Range Rover is not!!!

The anti 4 x 4 lobby can have their say, we live in a democracy (alledgedley) and we are all entitled to our opinion. Guess I won't be welcome at Greenpeace meetings.

Any modern turbodiesel car should tow a caravan or trailor as long as the weight ratios are correct. Traction control helps on frontwheel drive cars on wet slippery surfaces.

I have a Megane 1.6 cabriolet that goes zoom too----but it does not tow anything

My wife had a J reg Clio 1.4 RT they certainly do go well!!
