Hi,

has anyone used the Freelander 2 towbars.

The detachable is very expensive, looks pretty but doesn't look strong enough for the job.

The fixed hight looks a mess sticking out at the back and I've not actually seen the swan version.

Does anyone know if these will fit to an ALCO hitch.

I'm pulling a swift challenger and not sure if there would be enough clearance for the hitch.

thanks[:o)]

I bought a Swan-neck for our Terrano2 from Towequipe. Excellent Company.  Our Caravan has the Alko hitch also and we had no problems. The kit came with full, vehicle specific instructions for fitting and wiring. Great prices, quick delivery and all the back up you need for fitting yourself. Link to their site Towequipe

They have all the types available for the Freelander. Swan, detachable etc and good prices.
     Hope it helps, Ray

Hi Ray,

thanks for the feedback.

I've checked the link and it looks worthwhile. Definatley a lot cheaper than Landrover direct.
