My V70 D5 eats tyres, i have got less than 15000miles of each of the last 2 sets of Michelin Pilots PS2. Michelin were fitted from new & i am now thinking about trying another brand as i need a full set before we go to Holland next week. Any other V70 owners had the same problem, can anyone recommend a good performance tyre that will last me more than 9 months.

Apparently it's a really common problem with some V70, usually just the front ones wear badly.

Knowing this I started with budget tyres when I first got mine (Hankook tyres I think they were) they lasted ages and no problem with handling or grip so after speaking to my local tyre fitters decided not to go for premium tyres. Usually now just have whatever they have in stock thats cheap. Average 30,000 or thereabouts from a set.

Only thing I can suggest is chat to the tyre fitters and see if they can suggest a harder wearing tyre.

the cops use T5s and go through tyres in <6m,

continentals ?bit harder longer wearing tho dec performance
