Hi All,

Are these mirrors good and would they fit my 05 Shogun we've just bought.

I like the large size of them but confused to what mirror to which side.

Are the best fitted with one convex on left side and one flat on drivers side or two flat or two convex, whats your views please.

Me ed's spinnin!

Thanks, Paul

Dont know if they will fit but I have flat on drivers side and convex on passenger side. The convex mirror makes objects appear smaller. They fitted my Sorento when I had that but they foul the mirror on the Passat so that it wont move hence I have ordered another type today

Hi Paul, they fit my fourtrak just fine and am pretty sure the mirrors on yours are wider so you should have no problems. I have two flat as I feel more comfortable with normal vision.

Thank you all for your replies,

Having read what Dave has said regarding two flat mirrors, I think that's  what I'll go for. I like things to be normal too  !!

I'll have to hunt a stockist down and see what they cost.

Thanks again,  Paul

If you're talking about the teardrop shaped ones, I've got them and they're brilliant, no vibration at all.

I have just ordered a set of these (both convex) for £47.00 delivered, so I hope they are all they are cracked up to be.

I have a pair of the old Milenco's... the ones where the little protecting feet drop off when you undo them too much, and have been using these vith various little bits of rubber to prevent damage to the wing mirrors.

Anyhow, I thought that a new set off mirrors would be a treat  for our new Sorento that we pick up tomorrow night

Hi Alistair,

I've rang around today to find everybody wants them !!!!! most people out of stock! unless you want convexed!

Found my local retailer has the convexed in stock only at £45 per pr. They say some people flat some covexed and some one of each so come and try the fit and view for myself, can't be fairer than that eh! so i'm giving it a go!

Thanking you all for your replies and we'll see what happens  2moz !

Regards,  Paul

These arrived yesterday, and what a quality, substantial bit of kit they are!!  I will try them out next week but I imagine the view will be terrific. They certainly seem well worth the extra over the regular mirrors.

Hi All,

Got mine today ,both flat....last pair on the shelf !!!!  Paid £49.95 though!

The quality is great and look the bee's knee's but......

To be honest I fitted one to the mirror, clamped it on but found you can fairly easily push it off so not sure what thy'll be like with wind at them.  They push off fairly easily due to the mirror having a bead/rim around the mirror body and this is bevelled. Had the clamping/moving pad been alittle longer to the outer edge I feel it would grip in the joint where the rim meets the body.

Nethertheless I purchased and keeping my fingers crossed !

I've emailed Milenco regarding my findings/suggestion and am awaiting their reply hopefully.

Thanks to you all,

Paul

Sorry forgot to mention that I emailed Milenco prior to purchase and they said that they would fit, yes I suppose they do fit you might say but not what I would call total satisfaction, we'll wait and see when they're under test and hope that they don't end up under in the middle of the road !!

Regards,

Paul
