Firstly real sorry if I should have started this thread in another place but here goes anyway.
I've got a towbar fitted, just to get the damn relay etc to work.
I have a 12N trailer socket fitted and all worked fine using our Landrover so know the trailer wiring is good.
Have wired the relay on our other car as follows:
Relay Yellow near side flash to car blue green
Relay Green off side flash to car blue brown
Relay Brown off side tail to car grey yellow
Relay Red brake to car black green
Relay Black near side tail to car violet grey.
Relay White to earth
Relay is live via a 15a fuse.
I have re checked the colours from the cars workshop manual and all seem correct, I have even checked using a circuit tester and they all getting power when using relevant lights, i.e flashers, brake etc but nothing happening to the trailer apart from near side flashers.
I am out of ideas,
Help greatly appreciated
