what is your nose weigth on caravans
Its the amount of weight the caravan puts on the car's towbar. Look in yours cars handbook at weights, you should see, max towbar imposed load, normally 70-90kg. to find your caravan nose weight park it on level hard ground, buy a noseweight gauge from a caravan shop(£10)put gauge under hitch & wind up jockey wheel so 'van is standing just on wheels & gauge & read off weight. you must adjust the loading of your 'van until the weight is about the max towbar imposed load as stated in your car's handbook. you can also use bathroom scales under the jockey wheel.
For safe towing it is important you understand this & get it right.
