You need to ring the supplier & ask the following questions:--
Does the trailer have:--
A single 7pin 12n plug? then you need single electrics fitted to your car.
12n/12s plugs(ie 2, 7pin plugs)? then you need twin electrics fitted to your car.
If the trailer is new it might have the new type 13pin plug fitted, then you will need the new type 13pin socket on your car.
If you tell a towbar fitter any of the above he will know what you mean.
