I think you will find it totally unnecessary to use spring assisters on a Sorento, I wouldn't even be thinking about it. The Sorento has a massive noseweight allowance, on my older model its 112kgs and more on the one you have.

Surely there is a very easy way to see if you need spring assisters. First measure the height of the towball on levelish ground, then either hitch up or get an adult to sit in the boot and then check how much the towball has gone down. In my car it is just 9mm when 75kg is put on the towball which is barely noticeable. 

If you like messing about with cars and want to spend money then, ...., but 4x4s do have a good range of suspension travel and stiff suspension anyway. Typically cars which do have problems have a long overhang from the back wheels to the towbar. In the case of the Sorento there overhang is quite short.

Very stiff suspension could damage the car or the caravan. See some of the earler threads about towing with vans.
