Hi all

For my next car im thinking of getting either the 1.8 or 2.0 vectra estate, is this a good tow car, my van weighs 900 KG.

any advice welcome

Both will tow fine but I would go for the 2.0 I have had two in the past and can't fault them.

We have the Vectra 2.0 DTI Estate and its tows our van with comfort.  We have a Fleetwood Sonata Melody at 1450kgs

We used to tow with a 2.2 Vectra and it towed our 1300kg van no problem.

Wouldn't go for a 1.8 because of fuel and power (or lack of) we had a 1.8 and thought it had a fuel leak the first time we towed with it.  Hence we traded it in when we got back.
