we've got an old petrol rav 4,but it eats petrol,does anyone have one of the early diesel rav 4's,as we like the car.Are they reliable,what sort of mpg do you get

Dont know if any use, but we've just bought (although its new) a RAV 4 2.2D which tows our Coachman Amara 520/4 beautifully.  We get approx 43mpg which we were very pleased with.
