Good for you Gaynor. I've been driving heavy plant & lorries for over thirty years & I'm the same when towing our caravan. I never do anything to intentionally hold anyone up, but I only drive at a speed where I feel I'm safe and in control.
When I took my HGV back in the 70s, my instructor told me to always ask myself if I can stop my vehicle doing what it's doing & make it do something else. If the answer is yes then I'm in control.
Anyone behind me has a number of options if they're unhappy. They can, overtake, stay where they are, take an alternative route or stop for five minutes. I never allow anyone to intimidate me into driving at a speed I'm not happy with.
