As the title says we just went for a look at our local kia dealer. Just went for a test drive to see if it was comfy. just put down a deposit on an ex demonstrator (XS model) with just under 6 thou on the clock for £15,000. (including fitting a new tow bar and electrics)

last time we "went for a look" we got a new caravan!

On a serious note we have been looking for a manual diesel for some time - they seem as common as rocking horse poo round here. Pleased at getting one locally and being an exdemo I know they would have maintained it.

can';t wait to get it...

You can get a new 59 reg XS for £18k at the moment at our dealer,

As ours is nearly three we are'nt bothered-it's nearly run in now-goes like you know what off a shovel!!!! Pulls like a train too!

Perrys are advertising new XS for £16995 and Jarvis are advertising £14995 but not saying whether XS or XE on the ad. Def still some very good deals to be had even though some prices have firmed up compared with 6 months ago.

Yes, it has been previewed in some magazines, it is in the UK in Feb. 

 It is larger but lighter -unitary construction rather than body on chassis. It has a 2.2 litre diesel with more power, lower emissions and better economy than existing model. Has 7 seat option too.

It will tow less and won't be as good off road apparantly.

Not tried ours off road-SWMBO won't let me, but I have heard they are good!

We were thinking of a Sorrento, but they looked so big in the show room!  Can you park them in an ordinary parking space?  My OH loves it, but as I will be the one driving it for a while.  Does it feel really big?
