Why oh why do manufacturers do this, ? Its so frustrating,
My smartcar I used to have was a nightmare, took me 3 hours once to change a bulb on it, and then I found out I had put the bulb in the wrong way round and was dazzling everyone so had to start again!

Maybe you could try a local garage to try & keep the cost down instead of paying dealer prices. I still think it's pretty disgusting though.

with the laguna you can remove the washer bottle pipe by twisting and pulling at the same time then you can get the cover off the rear one thing i will say is if you have the xenon gas bulbs they arent cheap
hope this helps

its easy enough to remove the washer bottle filler tube just twist and pull but mind your knuckles once this is out of the way you can get to the bulbs

A mate of mine owns 3 garages in our area and was telling me of an audi A4 in last week for a new headlight bulb.
I think it was a Zenon bulb but when you change the bulb you have to replace the starter pack which means light unit out bumper off as well as half the cars front end.
Once the built the car back up and checked it the headlights dip down and align themselves up but the new one did'nt. He then had to take it to Audi to have it synced to the starter.
The bill was £680 in total on a 04 reg. The customer never batted an eye as he was quoted far more from audi !!!
