Hiya chilephilly - Yeah that would be good. We're going to a very small site in Aldridge straight from picking our van for just the night. Then the following weekend we're going to Kingsbury Water Park for two nights. Have camped in a tent at Pillerton Pools which is fab and only 10 mins from my house. Susie

Oooo may pick your brains about Kingsbury - that's on my list of places to go. Off to Teversal next weekend (wrong direction for you, unfortunately) and then to a little site near Marchington (all of 15 mins from home) - can't wait!

Hi chilephilly - I have 'googled' your upcoming weekends away - and they look fab! Our plan is to have two weekends away each month (sounds good in theory) and not more than one hours drive from home (the nearer the better for me)....so would be great to swap site info. Susie

I always think that when coupled up we're not a lot different from H.G.V.'s especially lengthwise

Take the opportunity to watch H.G.V. drivers manouvre as they pull out of junctions, how much of the road they need to use to get their vehicles around tight bends etc

Copy them!

It's a good trick to learn from others.

So 'bad stuff' does happen. At the moment I'm keeping my eye on the weather - not to keen on the gusts that are about at the moment, need calmness for Saturday. Fingers crossed.
