hi just a shoot in the dark but any help gladly recieved i have just brought a rangerover with a detachable tow bar on my old landie i used a leaf stabalize bracket but seeing as i cant see anywhere to attach a bracket and i dont want to go to the expense of fixing another towbar i wondered if people had this same problem i cant change to an alko hitch old caravan but i have been looking at these swan neck brackets advice please,

If all else fails take it to your local indespension centre they are excellent at solving problems like this and expert fitters of all towing gear, I use a leaf stabiliser but mine is just bolted on through the same (Longer) bolts as the towball is fitted to the bar.

If you go here, the bracket I have ( I will check it is still in the garage!) is item LC8.

Its for Bulldog Stabiliser, if you have another make it is no good. 

 Swan neck is where the bracket is a tubular bracket that curves up with the ball welded on the end, rather than the bolt on type hitch which bolts on a flange.

That will probably be the part that slots into the receiver on the car on a removable type.
