Hi Adrian, Whilst it isn't everybodys cup of tea, I love our Mitsubishi Delica, We've had it about 5 years, and it's never let us down. It's a little thirsty , so if your looking for good fuel economy .. best go for something else. There's some great owners clubs that are very enthusistic, and have been alot of fun.

2.8 turbo diesel, will tow most trailers/ caravans with ease.......

To safely tow that weight your going to be looking at...
Ford Galaxy
Seat Alhambra
VW Touran
Renault Espace
Kia Sedona
Hyundai Trajet

We have a trajet and love it, its essentially the same as a sedona but with a 2.0 litre engine, I would definitely go for the diesel crtd models though, ours is a petrol and can sometimes struggle on steep hills with the van on, When we change it will either be a trajet diesel or a sedona diesel.

The space in them is great, the seats are comfortable and its really nice to drive. I can get the dog cage and a double pushchair in the back of ours without the 2 rear seats in. We also have picnics in ours if its raining as the front 2 seats swivel round to face the rear. Ours is a 52 plate with 95k on the clock and still has no rattles inside.

Only downside is ball weight is quite light but I think that applies to most MPV's
