Is anyone the owner of a Nissan Navaro and tow a twin axle??? I have been towing my Bailey Carolina with a Range Rover but i am looking to purchase a Navaro, (more practical for work). Just wondereing how they pull???
Never had either a Navara or twin axle, but a couple of years ago I saw a Navara pulling a fifth-wheeler - and that was big!
I would guess that if your van doesn't exceed the 85% recommendation, it should be ok....

Check your Bailey warranty. I am under the impression that Bailey nul the warranty (inc the 6 year water ingress) if you tow with a commercial vehicle.
I have just bought a Navara D22 and I have a Coachman Laser twin axle.
The beauty of the Navara is that it has a 3 tonne tow capability and after doing my research it looks like a great tow vehicle. I can tell you more in about 4 weeks.
if you want any advice have a look at www.nissan-navara.net... the lads there are really helpful!!
Suggest you load the pickup bed a wee bit Andy, just to keep the tail end stable. Experience with a 4 wheel trailer with a machine on it (just under 1 tonne) showed that we towed better with a couple of cwts. of load in the bed and with the noseweight at around 85kg.
Probably your awnings and the heavy stuff would do the job, but it'll be a matter of 'suck it and see' probably.
------------- There's nae pooches in a shroud, so spend it before the Government does it for you!
I have got the Pathfinder, which is the car version of the Navara, it has the same engine, just different rear suspension. Mine is an Auto with a 2.5 Diesel Engine, and it has 174 BHP, more than a similar LandRover disco, it pulls exceptionally well, i have seen people pull v v large twin axles with Navarras, no probs...
