I think they are around the 950kg mark but i will stand corrected on that.Might be best to take it to a public weighbridge.

That's pretty light, do you mean 1120kgs perhaps.
If completely stuck, the weighbridge is a good idea but while it'll let you weigh the van, it won't tell you the maximum laden weight unless you know what the permissable payload is for the van.
Try the Bailey Owners Club perhaps?

Is there not a weight plate on the van, either by the door or fixed somewhere to the chassis?

1996 Bailey brochure gives Majestic as:

  • 1081kg Max Authorised weight,
  • 848kg ex works weight
  • 208kg payload

I have a bailey pageant cabriolet 91 which is nearly identical to the majestic and that's 998kg I think the majestics a tad lighter as it's not as long as the cabriolet as it has less kitchen, if memory serves me when we were looking for the weight of our van we came across the majestic and I'm sure it said weight was 889kg or 899kg I think I have it in my owners book it gives all the weights for the bailey range between 90 /94
will have a look and get back
