Thought I would add to this as I know Zafira tow weight is a big issue.  

I called Vauxhall today regarding tow capacity for my W reg 1.8 16V (115bhp) Elegance with A/C and sunroof.  Max braked tow weight is 1300kg and nose weight is 75kg.

I would recommend anyone does this as every model and spec seems to be very different.

Internet gives the Kerbweight of your car as 1560Kg but check your handbook. That would give you a caravan with an MTPLM of 1326Kg for an 85% match. 

4 Berth ABI Northstar is listed at 1600Kg but I suppose it depends which model and year. Check the plate on the caravan to see what its MTPLM is.

Then you also need to consider the max train weight of the car/caravan as set out in the handbook.

Consider the max noseweight of the van and car and ensure that the van can get down to the lower of the car or its tow ball.

Tell your insurers that you will be towing.

I had a Zafira 51 plate 2.0DTI as a company car - towing limit of 1050kg was confirmed by dealer.  I did not have a van at the time but this stopped us buying one for a few years (I had the choice of an Seat Alhambra TDi and I chose the Vauxhall, not my finest hour!)

I heard the clutch was poor and not up to the job of towing, apparently the 2.2DTI (only available in Europe and never imported to the UK) had a higher tow limit.
