I am hoping that one of you kind people can help me cos I think I must be being ultra thick today! In my Golf I listen to music stored on my i-pod loaded with music from CDs (through my laptop) and I-Tunes. My husband listens to music stored on a memory card in his new shape CRV. Now being a stingey Yorkshire lass I want to copy some music from my I-tunes on to his memory card - but I can't for the life of me work out how to do it. Does anyone know if this is possible at all - or have I-tunes protected their music in some way? If it is possible then how can you do it?

The way I think I would approach this is to use the card reader in the PC/Laptop, which then appears as a new drive and to see if I could drag or cut and paste from iTunes to copy the music to the memory card.

To my memory even if iTunes will allow copying to a memory card, their std format is aac so not sure if it will play from a stick. iTunes will not allow purchaced tracks to be converted to mp3. The cheapest way will be to make music CDs from iTunes and then use other software to make mp3 files from the music CDs iTunes makes. Making music CDs from iTunes is legal and it allows 5 CDs to be made from each playlist.
